KATE FLEUR YOUNG
Kate Fleur Young is a London-based vocalist and electronic artist whose music blurs the boundaries between ancient ritual and futuristic soundscape.
Drawing from the wild landscapes and mythologies of the British Isles, her voice rises like a spectral force - gothic, haunting, and transcendent, carrying echoes of forgotten folklores into luminous, cinematic realms.
Rooted in the sacred frequencies of the Earth, her sound fuses crystalline tones, natural field recordings, mesmerising vocals and dark synths, creating music where ancestral memory threads through modern worlds.
She has performed at some of the UK’s most iconic venues for The Future is Sound, including the Barbican, Alexandra Palace, and EartH Hackney. She has collaborated with visionary artist Robot Koch, who is now producing her forthcoming debut album. Her multidisciplinary projects span installations at the Saatchi Gallery, The V&A and The Strand in collaboration with Hannah Marshall. She has created soundscapes for Marshmallow Laser Feast, and her music has been championed by BBC Radio 6’s Mary Anne Hobbs, featured on BBC Radio 1’s Decompression Sessions, and included in the Beckley Foundation’s psychedelic research playlists. Kate was also chosen as a finalist for the emerging artist competition for Polygon - establishing her as an artist forging new paths through the terrains of immersive electronic music..
